LOUIS J. KOSMERLY

Louis J. Kosmerly, owner/operator of Gilley's Feed Lot in downtown Kincardine, has died. The gregarious, outgoing businessman died suddenly Wednesday, June 7, 2017, while with his wife, celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary on a Mediterranean Cruise. He was 67. Beloved husband of Linda (Hendriks). Dear father of Louis M. Kosmerly and Joey Kosmerly, both of Kincardine. Brother of John (Elaine) Kosmerly and Frank (Pat) Kosmerly, all of Kincardine. Fondly remembered by many nephews, nieces, cousins and the Hendriks family. Lou and his family opened Gilley's Feed Lot in 1978 and turned it into a successful restaurant, boasting the best wings in town. Over the years, the business has sponsored a number of events, including the annual golf tournament in support of Community Living of Kincardine and District. The family will receive friends at Gilley’s Feed Lot, 832 Queen Street, Kincardine, Friday, June 16, from 3-8 p.m., and Saturday, June 17, from 3-8 p.m., with special remembrances, Saturday at 7 p.m. Cremation to follow.
