​Bruce County warden receives Community Leadership Award at CNA conference

Bruce County warden Chris Peabody received the Community Leadership Award from Bruce Power, Thursday (Feb. 29) at the Canadian Nuclear Association (CNA) conference.

This award recognizes exceptional service to communities in the Bruce, Grey and Huron region, as well as leaders who exemplify the qualities of collaboration, communication, and clear vision and have made a significant and positive impact on the region.

Peabody was presented with this award, along with award Huron County warden Glen McNeil and Grey County warden Brian Milne.

“I am proud to accept Bruce Power's Community Leadership Award to recognize the role Bruce County plays in supporting the creation of clean and reliable energy,” said Peabody. “The energy produced in our county is critical to fuel economic growth locally, and across Ontario.

"Through the Clean Energy Frontier, we appreciate the partnership and collaboration of Huron and Grey counties, Bruce Power, and the Nuclear Innovation Institute, to promote and realize opportunities to create clean energy in our region."
