Bruce Power employees donate $9,300 toward Red Cross Hurricane Harvey relief efforts

A Bruce Power site-wide fund-raiser has collected $9,300 for the Canadian Red Cross Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
“Our employees have stepped up to the plate to help others who are suffering through the devastation experienced in the Houston area,” said Cathy Sprague, executive vice-president, human resources. “When our employees saw the images of the flooding that caused immeasurable human and property loss, many came to us with the idea of the fund-raiser for the Red Cross.
“The generosity of our employees is truly humbling, as they constantly step up for those in need.”
The community can donate to the Red Cross’ Hurricane Harvey relief efforts through the Bruce Power portal at www.redcross.ca/HurricaneHarvey/BrucePower.
