OPP drug warrant executed in Goderich

(GODERICH, ON) - Thursday, Oct. 5, members of the OPP Huron-Perth Community Street Crime Unit, with assistance from the West Region Emergency Response Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence located on Wolfe Street in the Town of Goderich.

As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized cocaine, oxycodone, cannabis marijuana, and psilocybin. The combined street value of the seized controlled substances is estimated at $3,589.

Police also seized offence-related property that consisted of drug trafficking paraphernalia and cash.  The combined value of the offence-related property is estimated at $1,500.

Police have arrested and charged 23-year-old Kesha WEITZEL of Goderich. She is also charged with Possession for the Purposes of Trafficking Cocaine and Marijuana. Additionally, she is charged with Possession of Psilocybin and Oxycodone.

She has been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for November 6, 2017.
