Huron Heights students showcase musical talents at Christmas concert

The students at Huron Heights Public School, Kincardine, had an opportunity to showcase their musical talents at the annual Christmas concert, held Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 13, at the school. The concert was also held Thursday night.

The show featured the Huron Heights band and the choir, both directed by Heather Weber, as well as several individual performances, on ukulele, piano, trumpet, flute, clarinet, and recorder; vocal solos, and dance routines.

The Grades 4-5 class sang "The Good Old Hockey Game;" a rock band played "Jingle Bells;" the Grade 4 class performed "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy;" and the Grades 7-8 ensemble sang "Merry Christmas and All That Jazz."

A highlight of the concert, was the hand-bell ringers who performed "Jingle Bells" and "Silent Night," much to the delight of the audience.
