The Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell (above), Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will make an official visit to the Municipality of Kincardine, Tuesday, Jan. 16.
She will begin her day visiting with students at the Kincardine Davidson Centre at 10:30 a.m., before heading out to Stoney Island Conservation Area where she will participate in the opening of the local Ontario 150 Trail at 11:30 a.m.
Following a buffet lunch with community representatives at the Kincardine municipal administration centre, Dowdeswell will meet with Kincardine mayor Anne Eadie. The visit will focus on United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 15: Life on Land.
This will be Her Honour’s 55th official civic visit during her term.
