Thelma Beatrice Helm (née Cowan) of Kincardine (formerly of Dunnville and Tiverton), died peacefully at Trillium Court Seniors’ Community, Kincardine, Tuesday, July 29, 2025, in her 84th year. She will be deeply missed by her children, Rob (Amy) Helm, Paul (Kelly) Helm and Anne (Larry) Lange. Devoted grandmother of Rebecca (Clark), John (Zoe), Matthew, Ashlynn (James), Katrina (Devon), Bradley, Ben, Jeremy (Eva), Jacob (Jacqueline), and Abigail. Loved by five great-grandchildren, Vivian, Margot, Beau, Parker and Sullivan. Remembered by her brother, Dave Cowan, and sister-in-law, Jeanne Cowan, both of Dunnville. Predeceased by her loving husband, Jack; parents, Robert and Hazel Cowan; brother, Joe Cowan; brother-in-law, George Jackson; and sister-in-law, Barbara Cowan. Also remembered by Jack’s siblings, Joyce Jackson of London, Bill and Marilyn Helm of Oakville, and Marilyn and Tom Watson of Calgary. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Monday, Aug. 4, 2025, from 5-8 p.m., and Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 11. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Tiverton Park Manor and Trillium Court long-term care for the kindness and support for Thelma over the past few years.
