They later spent a brief time in Guelph and Cambridge before returning to her beloved hometown of Kincardine. For 20 years, Marilyn worked at Trillium Court Seniors' Community in Kincardine where she was known for her dedication and kind spirit. Outside of work, she found joy in gardening and fishing, two of her greatest passions. Her stunning garden, known as “Garden No. 4” along the boardwalk, became a beloved landmark where residents and visitors often stopped to admire her blooms. All summer long, she could be found there, tending to her plants and sharing her love of nature with others. A Celebration of Life for Marilyn will be held Friday, Jan. 16, 2026, from 12-3 p.m., at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 183, Kincardine.
