DONALD MILLER

March 25, 2026

Donald Miller of Kincardine, cherished father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died March 25, 2026, in his 83rd year. His love for sports was a life-long passion. Whether cheering on grandchildren or great-grandchildren from the sidelines or sharing stories of legendary games, he brought an infectious enthusiasm that brightened every gathering. Family was at the centre of his world, and his legacy lives on through the generations he nurtured and loved. He will be remembered for his kindness, wisdom, unwavering support, and pockets full of candy for kids at the arena. As we celebrate his remarkable life, we are grateful for the memories and the lessons he shared with us all. He leaves behind his daughters, Melanie, Kate (Matt), and Alayna; daughter-in-law, Shelley; grandchildren, Chloe, Liam, Anna, Jane, Macy, Tucker, and Spencer; five great-grandchildren; beloved companion, Sheila; and sister, Marion. Don will be missed by his niece, Carolyn; and his in-laws; as well as extended family and friends who will continue to honour his memory. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit remains with us forever. He was predeceased by his son, Daniel; wife, Elaine; parents, Ralph and Dorothy; sisters, Helen and Joan; and brother, John. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Huron Shores Hospice or the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation in Don’s memory. A celebration of Don’s life will be held Sunday, March 29, from 2-4 p.m., at the Kincardine Legion; arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services, www.greybrucecremation.com.
