Jason Passmore, formerly of Kincardine, died suddenly and unexpectedly, Aug. 11, 2026, in Toronto, at the age of 46. Sadly missed by his father, Wayne; sister, Amy Andruski, and her family, Joe, Joy and Ford; and sister, Lori, and her family, Mathew Garnett, Kyla and Sylvie of Cambridge, United Kingdom. His beloved mother, Karen, died two years ago. He will also be missed by family in Peterborough. Jason grew up in Kincardine and left as a teenager. He moved to Barrie and then spent most of his adult life in Toronto where he pursued his love of music as a disc jockey (DJ), and then sound and lighting technician. He was almost never without his speaker and always had a diverse set of music playing. He was also a prolific artist. He lived in Toronto with his cat, Smudge. Jason will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be held at the Kincardine Cemetery, Aug. 19, 2026, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., with Pastor Robert McFadden officiating. A reception will follow at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Epilepsy Ontario would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
