Robert “Allan” Irwin of Ripley, beloved husband of Helen Irwin (Cerson), died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019, at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton, at the age of 87. Born in Kincardine April 17, 1931, he was the son of the late Catherine (Blue) and Lloyd Irwin. Greatly missed by his children, Kathryn Irwin of London, Joan Irwin of Richmond Hill, Connie (Jerry) Zrini of London, and Paul Irwin (Ingrid Wypkema) of Point Clark; and grandchildren, Andrew and Katelyn Paquette and Rachael and Emily Zrini. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Ripley, Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, from 2-4 p.m. The funeral will be conducted from the chapel, Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, at 1:30 p.m., with visitation also one hour prior. Interment, Ripley Cemetery. Memorial donations to Brucelea Haven, the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, or the Canadian Diabetes Association, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. |
