RVilla in Ripley has new owner, and is offering move-in promotion

RVilla Retirement Living in Ripley is now owned by the Rosewood Senior Living Inc. group, and is offering a special move-in promotion.

Mid-February, Rosewood purchased the retirement home from Gary and Anita Rutledge and the sale was approved by the Retirement Home Regulatory Authority.

Although the Rosewood Senior Living name may be new to the area, the individuals behind it are not.

Specifically, Joseph Gulizia, who is also the President and CEO of UniversalCare and the manager of the home for the past five years, is one of the principal owners.

“We are pleased and excited that Gary Rutledge will also be a part of this new group,” states Gulizia, in a letter to Rosewood RVilla residents, staff, families, physicians and volunteers. “We value and appreciate the Rutledges’ many years of providing exceptional service to the home. The UniversalCare’s team, through Julie Mann, who lives in the community and is the Director of Senior Living for UniversalCare, will continue to work very closely with the management team, staff, residents and families.

“We are pleased to inform you that there will be NO changes in staff. Although the logo and name will change, the operations, vision and commitment to the residents, staff and community, will not.

“As you are aware, as an organization, we pride ourselves in being involved in the communities we serve. We also value the notion that we have a responsibility to support local causes and priorities that are important to the community.”

Rosewood RVilla, located at 22 Park Street in Ripley, is also offering a move-in promotion with the following incentives:
