Tiverton news
Inverhuron has seen a lot of activity this past week with the natural gas line being installed.
Once again, the seasonal food truck has been parked at the bottom of Bruce County Road 15 and it is seeing lots of people looking for a quick lunch.
This is also good for Inverhuron’s Fin City Fish and Chips Restaurant and Convenience Store. Don't miss out on their fabulous fish and chips dinner!
Wonderful news: It’s official, Beginning June 16, Franklin’s Produce vegetable stand will now be located at the Lime Kiln Cottages in Inverhuron, Wednesdays, from 3-5 p.m. (or while supplies last). This is a welcome addition for Tiverton, Inverhuron and surrounding areas.
TIVERTON BLOOMS – ADOPT A GARDEN
Once again, Tiverton is looking fabulous. Thanks to all the Tiverton Bloomers and the Municipality of Kincardine staff for all their hard work. Over the years, we have lost some of our Bloomers so we are looking for volunteers to “Adopt a Garden.” You would be responsible to weed whenever you walk by your garden. Many of our gardens need a little tender loving care to keep them looking great and you may walk by one every day. Let us know if you would like to adopt a garden and we will help find the right garden for you. Anyone interested, please send an E-mail to: karenballok@gmail.com.
HURON SHORES HOSPICE
Huron Shores Hospice will be hosting a virtual “Death Cafe,” June 22 at 11 a.m., via Zoom. This is an opportunity to get together for refreshments and have an uplifting, interactive discussion that transforms this seemingly difficult conversation into one of deep engagement and empowerment. This is not a counselling session but a chance to increase ease and comfort with death and dying. Please register at
www.huronshoreshospice.ca.
