Battling Battler Midget Girls attend North Halton Fall Classic

The Kincardine Battling Battler Midget girls had a great weekend in Milton, attending the North Halton Fall Classic, and scoring two ties and one loss for their efforts.
The girls' first game was against the St. Catharines Golden Junior Badgers which ended in a 3-3 tie.
Two goals were scored by Christen Bell, and and a single by Hayley Sorbara, with assists to Billie Patterson, Kirsten Walden and Jada Dunbar.
The second game was a tie again, 2-2, against the Oakville Hornets.
Goal-scorers were Korrine Mangotich and Dunbar, with assists to Hayley Charette and Walden.
The final game was a close loss, 3-2, the to North Halton Twisters Fireballs.
Goal-scorers were Charette and Olivia Convay, with assists to Dunbar, Mangotich and Brooke Walker.
Other players on the team are Julia Convay, Morgan Robertson and Mackenzie Nashiem.
Goalie Amber Howald had an outstanding weekend between the pipes.
Thanks to Keith, Dave and Helen for a great weekend away.
