South Bruce OPP report drug charges

NORTH HURON TOWNSHIP MAN FACING DRUG CHARGES

(LUCKNOW, ON) – Dec. 30, at 7:01 p.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol, stopped to check on a silver Dodge Durango on Bob Street in Lucknow. 
The officer found an assortment of illegal and prescription drugs in the vehicle. The driver, 25-year-old Justin RILEY of North Huron Township, was charged with four counts of possess a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. He is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 9 to answer to the charges. The street value of the seized drugs is estimated to be $40,000.

DRUG CHARGE LAID AT RIDE CHECK

(TIVERTON, ON) – Jan. 1, 2015, members of the South Bruce OPP were conducting a RIDE check at the intersection of King Street and Main Street in Tiverton when a grey GMC Sierra pick-up truck was stopped. 
Officers found a quantity of illegal drugs in the truck. The driver, 53-year-old Jeffrey COLLINS of Kincardine, was charged with possess a controlled substance and drive with no validation. He is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 2 to answer to the charges.
