Special Olympic athletes compete at swim meet in Owen Sound

Kincardine and Area Special Olympic athletes were able to attend a swim meet hosted by Owen Sound Special Olympics, at the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre, Sunday, June 12. 

Swim athletes Jackie McDonald, John McCourt, Josh Easton and Richard Wright entered a number of events and all came home with a variety of first-, second- and third-place medals. 

Collingwood, South Saugeen, and Owen Sound Special Olympic swim groups also participated in the meet. Congratulations to all the athletes!
