​Reader wonders where next generation of volunteers has gone

To the Editor:
RE: “Walkerton hospital auxiliary disbands after almost 120 years of service”

It’s pretty sad to see the Walkerton hospital auxiliary disbanding after 120 years.

Looking at the photo of these dedicated volunteers, I can see the years of service are catching up and they are most certainly entitled to a well-deserved rest.

My question is: Where has the next generation of volunteers gone?
