It was a perfect day for a parade as a huge crowd lined downtown Tiverton for the fall fair parade, Saturday morning.
The Kincardine fire truck led the parade, followed by members of Kincardine Guiding, Tiverton Tiny Tot ambassador Wesley Glover and his mom, Kelly; the Teeswater Highlanders Pipe Band, Huron-Bruce MP Ben Lobb, municipal election candidates, Tiverton firefighters pulling the antique pumper, the Bruce Shrine Club, the Tiverton Lions, Kincardine Fall Fair ambassador Luke McBride, the amazing Craig-Convay Baseball Field float, Ripley-Huron Fall Fair ambassador Hailey Farrell, the chickens of Kenvel Farms, and the King’s Pearl vehicle.
Saturday began with a delicious breakfast, served by the Tiverton Lions Club, with more than 300 people enjoying the meal.
Other activities included the children’s pet show which featured four dogs, the mini-tractor pull, garden tractor pull, archery challenge, the Lions Cake Wheel, face-painting, the Kinetic Knights robotics demonstration, midway, and needle in a haystack, as well as the saddle horse show, and the miniature horse show.
The day ended with the fall fair dance to CrazyMaker and General Gist.
