Giving thanks for support of “Building Health Care for Generations” campaign
To the Editor:
We are entering the season of giving thanks, and the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation capital campaign committee thanks everyone – community members, businesses and community organizations – for your ongoing support as we carry out our “Building Health Care for Generations” fund-raising campaign, which will expand and modernize the Kincardine hospital, as well as upgrade medical equipment.
Our hospital has served generations of residents from Underwood to Lucknow and everywhere in between, and, as the populations of our communities grow, it is critical that our hospital grows in step. In order for our hard-working and dedicated health-care professionals to provide their patients with the high-quality care they deserve, the Capital Campaign committee seeks to raise $12-million by the end of 2026 to modernize and expand the emergency department; enlarge the medical imaging department and include a new mammography machine and CT scanner; improve outpatient areas including lab services; and purchase other much-needed medical equipment.
This project is vital to the healthy future of our community, and its success will not be possible without your help. Watch for our flyer, which outlines the “Building Heath Care for Generations” campaign and explains the many ways you can make a lasting impact on our community.
