Kincardine must bring tax-rate increase back to level of inflation, says reader

To the Editor:
RE: “Kincardine okays Davidson Centre greeters; tax-rate hike now sits at 11.43%”

Kincardine council needs to look at what can be cut from the budget to get this tax-rate increase back to the level of inflation. Roughly 6.5 per cent.

There are a lot of retired people in this municipality who can’t afford an 11-per-cent increase as the pensions are not increasing anywhere near 11 per cent.
