​Huron Shores Hospice joins Tiverton Lions, Kincardine Legion in new Catch the Ace

Huron Shores Hospice is joining forces with the Tiverton and District Lions Club and the Kincardine Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, to offer a bigger and more exciting Catch the Ace raffle to the residents of Kincardine and the surrounding area.

A similar approach has been undertaken in Goderich, and has worked very well for the three organizations involved, with progressive jackpots as high as $80,000. The hope is that the Kincardine area progressive lottery can duplicate that, making it a win-win for the organizations and the Catch the Ace players.

The new Catch the Ace progressive raffle will offer hybrid ticket sales with both on-line and in-person ticket purchase opportunities, giving more flexibility to purchasers.

Combining the Kincardine and Tiverton lotteries will help build the progressive jackpot faster and provide a much larger jackpot, while the community reaps the benefits.

The proceeds will be divided equally among the three organizations. The Legion and Lions support projects and organizations in the community, while Huron Shores Hospice supports its two-bed residential hospice in Tiverton, along with community programs, all delivered free to the community.

Huron Shores Hospice is a charitable not-for-profit, volunteer-driven, community-funded residential hospice, providing free quality end-of-life care, to residents of Kincardine, Huron-Kinloss, Saugeen Shores and surrounding areas.
