Rock with “21 and 9” in support of new playground equipment at Huron Heights school
The Huron Heights playground revitalization committee is sponsoring a rock concert, Saturday evening, Feb. 25, at Bar Down in Kincardine, to raise money for new playground equipment at the school.
Admission is $20 at the door, with donations also accepted through the night.
The show is headlined by Kincardine band “21 and 9” which is working on its second album to be released in the spring.
The band will be playing all the tracks from its first album (available at
21and9.com, Apple Music, Spotify, and in rotation on 97.9 The Bruce), and the entire new album to give fans a sneak preview of the new record.
Also appearing, will be acoustic rock duo “Binary Solos” (Rob Brunato and Drew Rankin), up-and-coming singer Aera Armstrong, and local artists “Blackwood” (Jeff Blackwood and Luke Price).
Graciously donating their time for the cause, are DJ Ryan “Buzzman” Berry who will be serving as the MC for the evening, and Ivan Smith who is providing sound/lighting for the event.
The show starts at 8 p.m. Contact Bar Down at 519-396-7423 to reserve your table.
