Area Toastmaster competitions held in Hanover

Local Toastmaster clubs held the Area Toastmaster Humorous speech and Table Topics competition, Saturday, Oct. 3, in Hanover.

Ron Rock of Kincardine won the Humorous speech competition, with Brent Jemmett in second, and Bertha Benninger in third.

Julie Smith (at right, front, with Ron Rock, left, and Pauline Brown) won the Table Topics contest, with Ron Rock in second and Pauline Brown in third.

Rock advanced to the District level, with the competition held Friday, Oct. 16, in Cambridge.
