Joyce and John Farrell returned home Sunday from Carlton Place where they attended the annual general meeting of the Canadian Co-operative of Woolgrowers.
Shirley and Doug MacDonald took their grandsons, Airk and Alex, to the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre in Southampton where they spent the night at a Halloween party. The boys enjoyed it.
Dianne and Wilfred Gamble visited on Sunday with Shirley and Doug, James MacDonald also visited.
Janet Nixon, Marilyn Reid, Janet Rhody and Deanna Scott attended the Bruce County District Women's Institute Rally in Elmwood, Thursday. Marilyn Reid was presented with the Women of Excellence Award for her Ripley Fall Fair participation.
Diane and Andrew MacDonald hosted a Halloween Party at Purple Grove on the weekend. Fun was had by all.
David Rhody of Wakefield, Quebec, visited with Gerald Rhody, and his siblings, Allen, Marilyn, and Janet and Wayne.

Thank you to the Lucknow Presbyterian Church congregation which hosted the quartet, “For Heaven’s Sake,” on Saturday evening. Folks from Purple Grove, Ripley, Kincardine and all points in between, enjoyed a very uplifting concert.
