Kincardine Lions donate $30,000 to Kincardine hospital foundation

Members of the Kincardine and District Lions Club gathered Thursday morning to present a donation of $30,000 to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation.

This represents 60 per cent of the funds raised from the sale of the club’s Hospital Fund-raising Raffle. Throughout the summer, members sold tickets on a prize table consisting of 22 prizes valued at a total of more than $10,000.

The club extends deep appreciation to all the businesses that generously supported the raffle and thanks to everyone who purchased a ticket.

The remainder of the funds raised allow the Kincardine Lions Club to continue supporting its other annual commitments to local programs and projects.
