Local women and those serving in government, will share their inspiring stories about how they are making a difference, during the Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians (CWP) - Canada Region Outreach Program conference, Friday, Nov. 6, from 10 a.m. to Noon, at the Bruce Power Visitors' Centre.

The CWP - Canada Region - steering committee is hosting its outreach program in Ontario this year with the purpose of inspiring women to become engaged to make a difference! For the first time in eight years, the program will be held in both urban and rural settings.
Friday's event is a unique opportunity to demonstrate how women can make a difference, and to inspire more ladies to get involved in their communities.
The Canadian Region of the CWP is comprised of women who serve in the provincial and territorial legislatures, and the Parliament of Canada. The association’s mission is to assist Canadian women and girls to discover their political potential, experience the fulfillment of a career in the public service and create a better society.
