Wild, zany costumes at Kincardine Community Singers Halloween-themed practice
It wasn't even Halloween yet, but there were a number of wild and zany characters in attendance at the Kincardine Community Singers practice, Wednesday night, at Knox Presbyterian Church in Kincardine.
The costumes ranged from a retired pharmacist in goggles and a colourful lab coat, to concert girls, to Beetlejuice and Mrs. Beetlejuice, as well as witches and more.
Even director Patt Lowry got into the spirit, sporting a pair of flashing pumpkin earrings.
The top costumes were awarded prizes, and everyone enjoyed some delicious treats, thanks to the concert girls.
Get ready for more scary ghosts and goblins as they go trick-or-treating Halloween Night, Tuesday, Oct. 31.
As for the Kincardine Community Singers, they are rehearsing for their concert, “In the Mood for Christmas,” which runs Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m., and Dec. 10, at 3 p.m., at Knox Presbyterian Church, Kincardine. The show features Liz Coates on keyboard, the Kincardine Community Singers band, and special guest, Jerry McNulty.
Tickets are $20 each for adults, and $5 each for children (age 12 and under); available at Penetangear in downtown Kincardine or from choir members.
