South Bruce OPP report domestic violence incident; and impaired drivers
INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE INVESTIGATION LEADS TO CHARGES
(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE TWP, ON) - Nov. 1, the South Bruce OPP responded to an address in Arran-Elderslie Township and initiated an intimate partner violence investigation.
As a result of the investigation, a 38-year-old Halton Region has been charged with Mischief.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton at a later date.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victims.

POLICE RESPOND TO CRASH AND ARREST IMPAIRED DRIVER
(BRUCE TWP, ON) - Oct. 30, at 10:01 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a single-vehicle collision along Concession 12 in Bruce Township.
Officers responded to the scene with Bruce County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to find the vehicle had left the roadway and come to rest in the ditch.
The driver was found to have been drinking alcohol, was placed under arrest and taken to a Qualified Intoxilizer Technician for breath tests.
Roy KING, 24, of Brockton was charged with Impaired Driving and Operate over-80 milligrams.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton, Dec. 6, to answer to the charges.
An impaired driving charge includes an immediate 90-day driver's licence suspension and an immediate seven-day vehicle impoundment.
IMPAIRED DRIVER FACING CRIMINAL COURT
(WALKERTON, ON) - Oct. 27, at 2:26 a.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Park Street in Walkerton, stopped to check a motor vehicle.
The driver was found to have been drinking alcohol, was placed under arrest and taken to a Qualified Intoxilizer Technician for breath tests.
Jordan SCHUMACHER, 36, of Brockton was charged with Operate over-80 milligrams and Having Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Open Liquor.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton, Dec. 13, to answer to the charges.
