Sean Morphy is new deputy CAO for Bruce County
Sean Morphy (above) is the new deputy chief administrative officer for Bruce County, effective Dec. 16.

This is the second most senior staff position within the county, is an integral part of the senior management team, and steps in as CAO in the CAO’s absence. The deputy CAO is responsible for a variety of support and operational departments within the organization, with the directors of those departments reporting directly to the deputy.

Morphy is currently director of human resources for the county. He is a dynamic and experienced municipal leader with a demonstrated history of managing responsive and innovative services in both the private and public sectors.

He has more than 15 years’ experience in management, labour relations, organizational development, and project and change management. He also holds a Master degree in Business Administration and the Certified Human Resources Leader designation.

“I am very pleased to congratulate Sean Morphy on his appointment as our new deputy CAO,” said warden Chris Peabody. “He is a talented senior leader for Bruce County and I look forward to working with him to have the county’s voice heard and expertise showcased.”
