Everyone is welcome to our Women's Institute meeting Wednesday evening, Nov. 4, at 7:30 p.m., at the Community Centre. Speaker will be Nancy Ackert on Estate Planning, and Roll call is a question for speaker. There have been changes in the laws surrounding estate procedures and processing, effective Jan. 1, 2015. Nancy is happy to explain how some of these procedures may affect how we plan our wills and estates.

Also advance notice of Purple Grove Annual Meeting, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m.

Thought for this week: "Temper gets you into trouble; pride keeps you there. It’s easier to eat “crow” when it’s still warm."
