Women's Institute commended for holding Remembrance meeting

To the Editor:
"Purple Grove Women's Institute holds Remembrance meeting"

The Purple Grove Women's Institute is to be commended for the Remembrance meeting held in the Community Centre.

Each member, at roll call, was asked how to keep Remembrance Day meaningful.

As a Life Member of British Columbia Women's Institute, Ryder Lake Branch, although no longer active with W.I., I'm always interested to learn how members contribute to their community and our great country. 

The W.I. motto is FOR HOME AND COUNTRY.

Thank you for this thoughtful event and wonderful story. Yes, we owe our veterans so much.
