​Local trustee remains vice-chairperson of Bluewater District School Board

Jan Johnstone (right), trustee for Kincardine and Huron-Kinloss on the Bluewater District School Board, has been acclaimed vice-chairperson for the fourth straight one-year term.

Jane Thomson, trustee for South Bruce Peninsula and Northern Bruce Peninsula, was acclaimed chairperson, also for a fourth consecutive one-year term.

The positions were determined at the initial school board meeting, Nov. 21.

The school board and staff congratulated both Thomson and Johnstone as they continue to fulfill their executive roles for the board of trustees.

They were also thanked for their ongoing leadership in upholding the vision, mission, and priorities of the school board.
