Steve Musselman won $880 in Wednesday’s Catch the Ace draw. He chose Envelope No. 32 which contained the Two of Diamonds. If he had caught the Ace of Spades, he would have won $14,243. Next week’s jackpot should be more than $15,000, so keep buying your tickets and good luck!

Ross Dodman was our double-dipper at the Saturday Meat Draw, and Brenda Jolley won $228.50 in the 50/50 draw, not a bad chunk of change! Bob and Judy Fletcher were our couples’ double-dippers.

Bingo was cancelled this Thursday due to a lack of available volunteers. We seem to have a shortage of volunteers across the board. If we want to have all of these events, we need all of our members to pitch in. I am working on a volunteer’s schedule that will let you know when we need volunteers and for what event. We hope to get together in the new year and provide some training for all events.

The next Family Dinner is Sunday, Dec. 17. Doors open at 5 p.m., and turkey and all the fixings will be on the menu.

The next General Meeting is also Sunday, Dec. 17; everyone is encouraged to participate.

The Veterans Christmas Dinner is Dec. 10. We look forward to having everyone join us.

New Year’s Eve Tickets are flying out the door. Don’t be disappointed; purchase yours soon before they are sold out. Tickets are $50 each for members and $60 each for non-members. This includes live music with Adam Cousins, and a cold luncheon around 11 p.m. We also are providing bus rides home at the end of the night which is included in the price of your ticket. There will be a few extra surprises that night as well. Remember, it’s a Bruce County party so grab your Bruce County dinner jackets, dust off your cowpie kickers and join in the fun!
