​Bruce County Punjabi community celebrates harmony of spirituality and charity

In a heartwarming display of unity, the Bruce County Punjabi community gathered at the Underwood Community Centre, Sunday, Nov. 26, for a vibrant celebration of Guru Nanak's Gurupurab, blending spiritual reflections with acts of generosity.

The event not only commemorated the teachings of Guru Nanak but also sought to make a positive impact through a unique initiative.

Residents of all ages participated in prayers, hymns, and discussions about the life and teachings of Guru Nanak. The atmosphere was filled with reverence and joy as the community embraced the spiritual significance of the occasion.

What made this Gurupurab celebration truly special was the integration of a food donation drive. Organizers collaborated with local charities and food banks to facilitate the collection of non-perishable items and fresh produce. Attendees, inspired by the spirit of selfless service advocated by Guru Nanak, generously contributed to the cause.
