South Bruce OPP continue search for stolen tools; and report stunt-drivers
POLICE CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE THEFT OF TOOLS
(ELDERSLIE TWP, ON) - Nov. 27, at 9:49 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a theft at an address along Concession 6 in Elderslie Township.
Sometime between 1-5 a.m. Nov. 27, a large quantity of tools was taken.
The list of stolen property includes:
- Topcon laser level
- Benchmark generator
- Metabo power nailer
- Stihl quick saw
- Quantity of Milwaukee tools
- Large quantity of Dewalt tools
The value of the stolen tools is estimated to be $15,000.
POLICE CHARGE TWO STUNT-DRIVERS IN ONE DAY
(SOUTHERN BRUCE COUNTY, ON) - The South Bruce OPP charged two motorists with stunt-driving in one day, this past weekend:
- Dec. 2, at 4:17 p.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Highway 9 in the Municipality of Kincardine, noticed a vehicle moving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle's speed was displayed on radar at 140 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. A 23-year-old Municipality of Saugeen Shores resident was charged with Stunt-Driving.
- Dec. 2, at 2:40 p.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Highway 21 in the Municipality of Kincardine, noticed a vehicle moving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle's speed was displayed on radar at 101 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone. A 38-year-old Municipality of Saugeen Shores resident was charged with Stunt-Driving and Driving while under Suspension.
A stunt-driving charge includes an immediate 30-day driver's licence suspension and an immediate 14-day vehicle impoundment.
