Kincardine Lions welcome new members, receive donation from Blues Festival
The Kincardine and District Lions Club had a couple of things to celebrate over the past couple of weeks.

First off, a fund-raiser was held at the Bruce Steakhouse, Nov. 25, in support of the club’s All-Wheel Park project.

At the conclusion of the event, the Lighthouse Blues Festival organizers presented the club with a donation of $14,320 for the project. This represents the funds raised at the event and the Blues Fest’s donation for the club’s participation in this year’s festival.

The club is grateful for the continued support.

Dec. 5, the Kincardine Lions inducted three new members at the club’s Christmas party held at Ainsdale Golf Club. All those who were able to attend enjoyed an evening of socializing and a delicious meal.

Welcomed to the club were new Lions Stella Poyner, Andy Palmer and Stacey Robertson.
