The Kincardine area saw a green Christmas, with just a skiff of snow expected for New Year’s.
Warm temperatures prevailed, as Christmas Day saw a high of 10 degrees Celsius and plenty of rain.
It was a bit confusing for the Canada Geese as a huge flock gathered on Station Beach in Kincardine, Thursday afternoon, unsure whether they should be flying south or staying put.
Light snow is expected New Year’s Eve, with a high of three degrees Celsius. And New Year’s Day will continue with light snow and a high of one degree Celsius.
This holiday season was much better for travelling, compared to last year when the area received heavy snowfall and high winds, and the roads were closed for three days over Christmas.
