Huron-Bruce Blizzard dominating “C” division at Kincardine Regional Silver Stick

The Huron-Bruce U13C and U15C Blizzard teams are dominating the competition at the Kincardine Regional Silver Stick which began Wednesday and culminates Saturday afternoon with the championship finals.
The U13 team defeated the Kincardine Kinucks “D” team, 5-2, Thursday, followed by a 9-3 win over Orillia. The Blizzard then tied Walkerton, 1-1, Friday, and advanced to the quarter-finals where the team downed Tavistock, 5-3, to move on to the semi-finals against Drayton, slated for Saturday at 10 a.m., at the Davidson Centre
Meanwhile, the U15 team demolished the Tavistock Titans, 6-2, Thursday, followed by a 9-1 win over Twin Centre. The Blizzard then downed South Grey, 8-1, Friday, and has advanced to the semi-finals, Saturday at 11:15 a.m., at the Tiverton Sports Centre.
