It was a sold-out crowd at the Kincardine Legion as Adam Cousins and his band rocked the hall at the New Year’s Eve party, Sunday night.
Originally from Brussels, Cousins has moved to Kincardine, and he and his band had the dance floor full to overflowing throughout the night, playing covers and original country tunes, much to the enjoyment of the crowd.
The theme of the night was “country” and people were sporting the proper regalia, from cowboy hats and cowboy boots to plaid shirts and jeans, as well as some fancy suits and dresses. There was a photo booth available for those who wanted to memorialize the moment, and a light lunch was provided.
Just before midnight, Cousins and the crowd did the 10-second countdown to ring in the new year, and the dance floor was covered in balloons. Once “Auld Lang Syne” was sung, it was back to country tunes until 1 a.m.
A bus service was also provided for patrons who needed a ride home.
