Congratulations to Patti McKay who won $2,559 in the Catch the Ace draw. She chose Envelope No. 26 which contained the Ten of Clubs. The jackpot should be sitting at almost $55,000 for next Wednesday’s draw.

There were no double-dippers at the Saturday Meat Draw but Doc Roppel did manage to win meat and $201 in the 50/50 draw, which should help him put a small down payment on a new car!

The St. Patrick’s Day Party at the Legion is Friday, March 15. This is a by-donation entry, so please give generously. Food will be available, $15 gets you a choice of stew or Shepherd's pie, one choice of two desserts and soda bread; and I am sure the Guinness will be flowing. Join us for some good hometown Irish celebrations, featuring The Irish Cowboys. Remember that there is a little bit of Irish in all of us no matter where you come from! You do not have to be a member to join us; our doors are always open to everyone. We are a non-profit community organization that welcomes’ everyone.

Remember Trivia Night is Friday, March 22; you can sign up at the Legion Club Room bar, $5 per person, eight people to a table. It’s a great way to enjoy a Friday night and an awesome way to show off your amazing information skills! We do not hold tables and you must pay up front.

Bingo is every Thursday night; another way to enjoy a night out with your friends. Come check out the new big screen TVs. There are fresh sandwiches and desserts for sale. March 28’s jackpot will be $1,200 - why not try your luck?
