Two facing charges after drugs seized in Kincardine

(KINCARDINE, ON) - March 8, members of the OPP Community Street Crimes Unit and South Bruce OPP officers executed a search warrant at a residence along Kincardine Avenue in Kincardine. 

As a result of the execution of the warrant, police seized a quantity of Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Percocet, and Hydromorphone. The value of the seized controlled substances is estimated to be $28,533.

Officers also seized offence-related property, including Canadian currency, packaging material and cell phones. The value of the seized items is estimated to be more than $1,840.

Cheryl REDMOND, 41, of the Municipality of Kincardine was charged with:
 

• Possession of a Controlled Substance of the Purpose of Trafficking - Four Counts
• Possession of a Prohibited Weapon

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton, June 5, to answer to the charges.

Dale CONANT, 45, of North York was charged with:
 

• Possession of a Controlled Substance of the Purpose of Trafficking - Four Counts
• Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
• Disobey Court Order - Three Counts

The accused was held in custody pending the results of a show cause hearing March 8.
