​Bev McNay of Lucknow dies at the age of 85

William Beverley “Bev” McNay of Lucknow, died March 8, 2024, at Sepoy Manor, with family at his side, at the age of 85.

Beloved husband of Jackie (nee Cooper) for 51 years.

Dear dad of Peter, Craig, Kendra and Erin (Kevin), all of Lucknow.

Special grandpa "Billy-Bev" to Ruby.

His grand-puppy, Hoser, will miss his company.

Survived by his siblings, Joyce McNay of Waterloo, Eleanor Garbutt of Milton, and Helen (Terry) Baker of Calgary, Alberta; and brothers-in-law, Charles Buck of Wingham and Lionel Harvey, and all of his Cooper in-laws.

Predeceased by his sisters, Elaine Harvey and Evelyn Buck.

Bev farmed all his life in Ashfield Township and enjoyed helping in his community.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lucknow Legion, Wednesday, March 13, 2024, from 1-4 p.m.

A private graveside service will be held at South Kinloss Cemetery; arrangements entrusted to the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow.
