Congratulations to Betty Cowley who won $5,098 in the Catch the Ace draw! She chose Envelope No. 12 which contained the Queen of Hearts. If she had found the Ace of Spades, she would have taken home $82,774! Next week’s draw is estimated at $92,000!!! The Mudmen were a great hit and we look forward to having them again. Everyone just loved their performance.

The Zuber brothers were the double-dippers at the Saturday Meat Draw, and Doc Roppel (right) won $171 in the 50/50 draw. This is another way to spend a few hours on a Saturday afternoon; it’s always a good time and who knows, you just might win some meat or the 50/50. It’s also a great time to pick up your Catch the Ace tickets.

Trivia Night is April 19 so get your team registered as soon as possible; $5 per person, eight per team maximum. You must register in advance at the Legion Bar.

The Mega Meat Draw is April 20, with 16 meat draws and a 50/50 draw. Highway 19 will be entertaining us.

The Branch 183 senior dart team of Steve Musselman, Derek Farr, Dan Van DerVeeken and Dawn Senior, competed at Branch 410 in Port Stanley, Saturday. Eight games of 701 were played with teams from across Ontario. The team played well but did not advance into the playoff rounds. Congratulations to the team for representing Branch 183 so well; we look forward to next season.
