Congratulations to Keelan Zuber of Tiverton who won a whopping $7,448 in the Catch the Ace draw. He chose Envelope No. 49 which contained the Four of Hearts. The estimated jackpot for Wednesday’s draw is $125,000 or more! Grab your tickets and join us live on-line or in-person at 4 p.m. sharp at the Legion.

There were no double-dippers at the Saturday Meat Draw, and Jamie White grabbed $133 in the 50/50 draw.

The May 16 Bingo jackpot will be $1,500!

The Legion Member Golf Tournament for Zone C-1 is May 25: regular golf, ladies golf, senior golf (age 55-70), super senior golf (age 70-plus). Two per team, sign up by May 11 at the Kincardine Legion sports bulletin board. More information is available on the sign-up sheets.

The next Trivia Night is May 24, beginning at 7 p.m. Sign-up starts May 13 – eight people to a team, $5 per person. You must sign up and pay ahead of time at the Legion club room bar.

May 26 is the next branch General Membership Meeting; come and meet the new executive.

June 1 is the Legion Member Zone C-1 washer toss at the Lucknow Legion. Sign-up sheets are on the Kincardine Legion sports bulletin board. You must sign up by May 25. More information is available on the sign-up sheets.

June 1 is the branch’s Honours and Awards/Volunteer Appreciation Dinner.

Good news, everyone, there will be a Family Dinner June 23 - not sure what’s on the menu yet but it will be great to see all of you again.

The Canada Day celebration plans are being hammered out and, for sure, Hwy 19 will be entertaining us. More details to come as the date gets closer.

Just a reminder, the Legion will be closed Victoria Day, May 20.
