Kincardine hospital auxiliary nets $6,000 from Art/Easel program

The South Bruce Grey Health Centre – Kincardine Hospital Auxiliary has received a cheque for $6,084 from the Art/Easel program.

Fund-raising consultant John Trebble was on hand Tuesday to make the presentation to auxiliary president Jeanne Lindsay and treasurer Wilma Manary.

The funds represent the auxiliary’s portion of the proceeds from the sale of the prints in 2023.

The auxiliary first partnered with Funding Innovations Inc. In 2016 and has received a total of $44,378.29 over the past eight years.

The hospital auxiliary is grateful to this company for the fund-raising opportunity, and to Sobeys, Boston Pizza, Rona and the Kincardine hospital for allowing the prints to be displayed. Thanks also to the media for posting the information on a regular basis.

Special thanks to everyone in the community who has already purchased, and continue to purchase, these prints. The money raised helps the auxiliary provide new and up-to-date equipment for the Kincardine Hospital.
