Long-time worker at Tiverton Library dies at the age of 66
Glenda Marybelle Avis (née MacArthur), of Inverhuron, died peacefully at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, in her 67th year, after a courageous fight with cancer.

Beloved wife of Carl Avis. Dear mother of Regan Avis (Keith Sine) of Guelph and Robyn Avis (Bryan Hughes) of Peterborough. Loved sister of Randy (Suzanne Book) MacArthur of London. Sadly missed by her niece, Jenny MacArthur, and nephew, Dan MacArthur.

Glenda worked at the Tiverton Library for many years.

She has chosen to bequeath her body to the University of Western Ontario medical school.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Glenda’s life at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre, Tiverton, Friday, Nov. 27, any time from 2-6 p.m.

Memorial donations to Bruce County Public Library (Tiverton Branch) or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine.
