​Exercise Trillium Venture band concert draws small crowd in Kincardine

A small but appreciative crowd gathered in Victoria Park, Saturday morning, for the concert related to the Canadian Armed Forces’ Exercise Trillium Venture.

It was a very entertaining concert, featuring the combined bands, the Windsor Regiment and the Royal Highland Light Infantry, of Hamilton.

Under the direction of captain Andrew Shaw, the band played a selection of tunes, from Regimental Marches to “Highland Cathedral” to a medley of tunes from the band, “Journey.”

The theme from “Mandalorean” was played in honour of Star Wars Day, May 4.

The concert was also performed in Port Elgin, Southampton and Goderich on the weekend.
