Sam Dinsmore is new Bruce County director of corporate services

Sam Dinsmore (above) is the new director of corporate services for Bruce County, effective June 3.

As a member of the county’s senior leadership team, he will deliver sustainable and transparent financial services, and oversee purchasing, risk management, and insurance.

Dinsmore is a dynamic and experienced finance leader, successfully demonstrating management of municipal budgeting, accounting, and analysis for more than 10 years.

He was the acting director of finance with the Town of the Blue Mountains, where he led important initiatives, including the development of the Asset Management Plan, procurement of an ERP (enterprise resource planning) system, and Development Charges implementation. His years of experience and practical knowledge in these areas will be extremely beneficial to the county.
