South Bruce OPP report porch pirate; and impaired driver
PORCH PIRATE ARRESTED IN KINCARDINE
(KINCARDINE, ON) - May 20, at 3:45 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a theft at an address along Olde Victoria Street in Kincardine.
The victim provided video surveillance to police which showed an individual approaching the home shortly after a delivery had been made.
As a result of video surveillance and public assistance, a 29-year-old suspect was identified and arrested in the case and charged with theft under $5,000. The accused was released and scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
POLICE ARREST IMPAIRED DRIVER
(KINCARDINE, ON) - May 17, at 9:07 p.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol, stopped a vehicle in the Municipality of Kincardine.
The driver was found to have been drinking alcohol, was placed under arrest and taken to a Qualified Breath Technician for breath tests which the driver refused to provide.
Robert THOMPSON, 53, of the Municipality of Kincardine was charged with:
- Operation while impaired
- Failure to comply with a demand
