Kincardine Theatre Guild's pantomime is "Peter Pan" as you've never seen it before
Quite simply, it's the Peter Pan story as you've never seen it before.

The Kincardine Theatre Guild's production of "Peter Pan, A Pantomime," is a brilliant showcase of talent - young and old. And it's delightful entertainment for young and old, as well.

Featuring an impressive cast of young people and adults, and a top-notch crew, the show is ridiculously-funny, zany, crazy, wild and a lot fun.

Kathryn Low is superb on stage as Peter Pan, opposite her father, John Low, who puts in a tremendous performance as the evil Captain Hook. Add to that the perfect comedic timing of Matt Harvey as the Dame, Miss Smee, and Pirates Line and Sinker, played by Dylan Trahan and Barry Neilson, and the action gets wilder by the minute.

And almost stealing the show, are the amazing singing and talented acting of the youth: Robyn Mercanti as Wendy, John Graham as John, and Malcolm Lane as Michael, Fiona Miller as the Shadow and Tiger Lily, and the Lost Boys, played by Carson Rutledge, Arlo Cossonnet, Kate Leppington, Juliana Rutledge, Evan Graham, Maia Hinchberger, Lydia Ritchie, Ethan Rawlings, Oscar Cossonnet and Jack Charbonneau.

Rounding out the cast, are Erica Everingham as Tinkerbell, Rod Coates and Sandy Nelson as Mr. and Mrs. Darling, Sid Duggan as the Crocodile, Glen Taylor as Big Chief, The Pirates played by Mary Beth Dennis, Cheryl Diffin, Deb Tripp, Fort Papalia, David Ellis, Jim Peddie, Kenzie Ford and Kate McTiernan, the Indians played by Marilyn Clarke, Christie Graham, Janice Griffith, Paul Dennis and Jeremy Charbonneau, and the Girls Chorus: Belle Patterson, Taylor Colwell, Heidi Allen, Isabella Lane and Emma Thompson.

Kudos to director Shirley Bieman, and her assistants, Alanna Boucher and Bonnie Bryan, for bringing this wild and wacky production to the stage, with such a large cast and crew. The choreography was terrific, thanks to Mary Neill, Sandy Brown and Leise Peddie, and the music was fantastic, thanks to Patt Lowry on keyboard and Greg Reid on percussion.

And finally, praise to the costumers, the set designers, and the rest of the crew who did their part to make this a show to remember.

"Peter Pan, A Pantomime," written by Stephen and Rachel Humphreys, with local embellishments by Bonnie Bryan, from the J.M. Barrie classic, is great fun for the whole family!
